HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS

Join us on Giving Tuesday, November 28th, for Home for the Holidays. Guests will enjoy an evening of merrymaking—delicious dinner, dancing, and the opportunity to start the season of giving with an evening of impact. Home for the Holidays is a celebration of compassion and community spirit, reminding us all that, during the holiday season, there's no better gift than helping others find a safe and welcoming place to call home.

  • Reserve your seat now for a festive evening of impact that you won’t forget! Limited tickets are available at $125 per person.

    Purchase a full table (10) and enjoy 2 complimentary bottles of wine to enjoy with dinner. Gather your dearest friends or colleagues and plan to make Home for the Holidays this year’s holiday party!

    Tickets must be purchased in advance and can be secured using the ticketing link. Seating is very limited.

  • Join us at the beautifully-restored historic Virginian Hotel in Downtown Lynchburg.

    7pm: dinner, program & live auction

    8pm: music & dancing (featuring Apple Butter Soul)

  • Stay tuned for more details on an array of items donated by local businesses and community members. Guests will have the opportunity to bid on unique gifts and experiences, with all proceeds funding our homeless response programs.

  • Guests will enjoy a complimentary cocktail hour from 6pm – 7pm in the Rose Room.

    A delightful holiday feast* will be served at 7pm, buffet-style, in the Grand Ballroom. Offerings include seasonal favorites such as Chesapeake crab soup, beef tenderloin, pan-roasted chicken, and roasted root vegetables.

    Guests can purchase drinks (cash or credit) during the event.

    *If you have severe dietary restrictions, please notify us in advance so that we can work to accommodate you.

  • Enjoy festive holiday jazz throughout the evening and then dance the night away from 8pm – 10pm to the incredible music of local favorites, Apple Butter Soul.

  • Free parking is available on the top floor of the parking deck on the corner of 10th & Main, behind the Virginian.

    Valet service is also available for a fee through the Virginian.

  • Cocktail attire is suggested. Join in the festive spirit—holiday best encouraged!

  • Special event rates are available for those who choose to stay at the Virginian.
