Homeless System Coordinator
Miriam’s House in Lynchburg, VA is looking for a dynamic leader to serve as Homeless System Coordinator. The Coordinator will be responsible for the leading the efforts of the Central Virginia Continuum of Care (CVCoC) to make homelessness rare, brief and nonrecurring in the City of Lynchburg and counties of Amherst, Appomattox, Bedford and Campbell. The CVCoC works collaboratively to solve homelessness through the development of policies and benchmarks based on local data; pursues local, state and federal funding on behalf of homeless response and monitors homeless response programs for high quality performance. The Coordinator is responsible for implementing the CVCoC strategic plan to end homelessness. This position provides leadership and support to homeless response providers through training on best practices, ongoing performance monitoring, data quality evaluation and remaining up to date on state and federal homeless grant guidelines.
